Sidari is a beautiful Greek village popular with UK Holiday Makers.
It's grown into a busy tourist resort on the North West Coast of Corfu, which is second largest of the Greek Islands in the Ionian Sea.
The resort owes it's popularity to a special combination of picturesque coves and beaches, together with the clubs, music bars, pubs, tavernas and restaurant giving a really vibrant night life.
There's about 50 bars and 50 Restaurants in the village.
The weather from June to September is virtually guaranteed to be hot and sunny. Sidari is also on the route of day trippers wanting to visit the famous Canal D'Amour.
The resort caters very well for the british family on holiday, with lots of different themed pubs, tribute acts and food for many different tastes.
Originally a small village, but since the early 1980's the location has become a very popular tourist detination for singles, couples and families.
Popular hotels include the Zafiris Apartments, Kanali Apartments, Andromeda Hotel, Stema Apartments and Paradise Apartments.
One factor which adds to the charm is the number of coves, bays and small individual beaches within a very short distance. Another factor which makes Sidari popular is that it caters well for both families and singles and has a very diverse nightlife, with loads of evening entertainment. Sidari may not be the place for a traditional Greek wind down, but there is entertainment, resturants, bars and clubs catering for every taste.
Overall, Sidari is a seaside town with a real holiday buzz and atmosphere. Enjoy your Holidays!
